functional replacements for
Weber Marelli 16M, 15M, P7 and P8 ECUs
as used on
Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Cagiva* and Laverda motocycles.

MyECU has more features than
the ECU it replaces and is a
vailable as an
assembled unit or in kit form.

Available as an assembled unit or in kit form.
Replaces the Weber Marelli P7/P8 (WMP8) which is used on MotoGuzzi, Ducati and Laverda's prior to the year 1996 (Cali to 1999).
Replaces the Weber Marelli 16M (WM16M) which is used on Moto Guzzi, Ducati and Laverda motocycles between the years 1996-2000.
Replaces the Weber Marelli 15M (WM15M) which is used on Moto Guzzi, Ducati and Laverda motocycles after the year 2000.

New features in MyECU *NOT* found in the OEM ECU

MyECUs have most of the features of the Weber Marelli ECUs plus more and interface to all the sensors that the OEM ECU use. Here are some of the new features.
Throttle pump emulation Ongoing development.
Ability to tune the bike on the road with the free Android Optimiser app. Open hardware - schematics for My16M are available from this site and all components are readily available.
Win32 program ( legacy - no further developement) to allow tuning from a PC.
Optional closed loop operation (requires an exhaust gas oxygen sensor).
Better diagnostic ability.
Closed loop can be disabled for selected sections of the map.
Moto Guzzi Daytona & Ducati 916 Assembled ECU

It was the 23rd December 2003 when I installed the first My16M onto another rider's bike. Since that time My16M has been been shipped to 3 continents and installed into various types of bikes eg. 1100 Sport, Daytona, Centauro, Ducati 851 Strada and Cagiva Grand Canyon etc...
